magical outdoor slavic wedding

In our culture, a wedding is usually described as the most beautiful day in life. Somehow, many times it is one of the most stressful days, due to the whole organization, planning, big number of guests, costs and duties that the newlyweds need to handle.
Sometimes, realization of wedding scenario steal the magic of the day. This is why, we often encourage couples to get at least a single moment to be just on their own, to have that small piece of time together to share some warm gestures, hugs and good words.
The outdoor wedding of Marti and Michael was just like that. It was a quintessence of being truly together on the wedding day. It was also the most emotional, mind-blowing wedding we have ever been to. As an intimate ceremony, only the Bride, the Groom and their closest family, two dogs and one cat, it took place in the forest and nearby field, where Marti and Michael are planning to build their new home. This traditional Slavic ceremony was full of rituals, small but important details and what is the most outstanding is that the couple was constantly focused on each other and their feelings. They meditated together, cried together while paying the vows, and enjoying every single moment of the day. Both, the place of the wedding and dinner, all decorations and clothing was prepared by the members of the family. After the wedding, everybody sang folk songs and danced. During the dinner, the couple ate from the same plate which symbolizes their connection. An element present everywhere was the light and fire showing the family love. The most important part of the day was binding of couple's hands by the ceremony master and dances by the fire. The whole day was totally filled with love, honesty and deepest feelings.
