Beautiful weddings happen in Lodz. Despite the fact, that we do live in here, we travel the world to our couples and we work in Lodz not too often. But we are always excited and happy to discover that also here, in Lodz, beautiful weddings can take place. In spite of its industrial character, or maybe because of it, this city can be a great place for a wedding. In the last couple of years, Lodz has been beautifully changing, still being faithful to its industrial background. OFF Piotrkowska or Lofts at Ksiezy Mlyn became indicators of these changes, making old places work again with new meanings, as not only historical, but creative and useful again. We personally love good architecture, old-new geometrical form of huge post-industrial spaces, places with a soul. Similarly like Marta and Jeremi, who were both born and raised in here, who meet here and decided to spend their big day with their families in their hometown, even though now they live thousands kilometers away.
Their first look on the wedding day in Lotfs at Ksiezy Mlyn, was one of the most touching and emotional we have ever seen. Gorgeous letters they had written and tried to read through the tears, made us all cry hard. These are most unusual and unforgettable moments of our work. We are allowed to witness real magic of love.
The official wedding ceremony of Marta and Jeremi took place in the Cathedral of Lodz, also one of the most beautiful churches in this city, surrounding the couple at the aisle with amazing light and even sometimes rainbows from the color glass windows. Having a wedding in Lodz, it's a place definitely worth considering. In the last few years, there have been opened numerous original venues in Lodz and we are so happy and hope that this trend of original weddings will develop and that Lodz will become number one in this off wedding field.
